Straight after the poster sessions, and sometimes during, were the speaking presentations. Our Kate Sheals was presenting her psychology research of 'An empirical comparison of the Health belief model and the Theory of planned behaviour: predicting binge drinking behaviour'.
Once at the correct room and building, Kate uploaded her presentation and waited for her allotted presentation time.
I was presenting research for my dissertation comparing two models of health behaviour in application to binge drinking. Even though I was really nervous beforehand, as soon as I got started I felt alright and it all went really quickly! It was great to have the chance to share my own research with people other than my university tutors and I feel very lucky to have had the experience. NCUR 2012 was an amazing experience and I'd urge any other undergrauates to grab hold of an opportunity like this if they were offered it!
