Its the first full day at NCUR in Weber State University, Ogden and a few of our UCLan bunch are presenting their research via poster or speaking presentations.
Registration was easy enough and we were given a NCUR ID badge, NCUR bag and a water bottle which was forever referred to as our 'sippy cup'. These were all produced from recycled products of which there was a big consciousness throughout the conference.
Each poster session lasted for around 2 hrs 30 mins, but there were very many posters to go around and look at. Every student was very forth coming with their research and any question you had to ask.
The speking presentations took place in the classrooms and lecture rooms. They were about 20 mins each including questions, but you had the opportunity to see one presentation and leave if you fancied seeing another one and then popping in to see that part way through the hour session of 3 presentations.
